My name is Garth Everett Beyer and I’m a writer and ruckus maker.

Mainly because I would end up talking too much, I figured the best way to get to know me is through someone else.

I recall at family gatherings, Garth was either out in the yard dangling from the highest tree branch he could find or upstairs surrounded by stacks of encyclopedias, engrossed in reading them all – page by page, volume after volume for hours at a time (I’m not kidding).

As a kid he was a raucous explorer but also unusually introspective – a ‘thinker’ and a ‘doer’. No wonder years later as a young man beginning to consider his role in life, he shared with me his aims to make a difference in the world – touching on everything from education reform to tracking cultural trends to enable a better future”

With that I want to make a special thanks to all the people in my life: those closest, friends, family, enemies, and especially to those who pop in my life for only a short time, enough time for an impact to be made on each other.
