
No doubt that an unbranded glass leads the beverage it holds to be perceived as less valuable than the same liquid in a branded glass.
A bill with a pen on it leads to a different tip than a bill in a custom leather booklet.
And a gift most certainly leads one to appreciate it more when there’s a bow and a ribbon on it.
It’s not the entire point, but the details matter.
