Four Walls

Any time you put people within four walls, they’ll become a community.

There’s not much hate one has with another when they’re in Trade Joe’s.

Those in a local coffee shop know that everyone around them is studying, socializing or escaping the real world, too.

Similar community-ness can be said for digital environments like Seth Godin’s Marketing Seminar or a metal band’s YouTube channel.

Walls send a signal of inclusion/exclusion, insider/outer, those in cahootz and those not.

If we can be bold enough to design four walls, the possibility of what we can accomplish and create within them becomes endless.
