Someone was giving advice to those who have been laid off to not fall in love with a company because there’s always that unpredictability.
I simply don’t agree. You ought to love the company you’re working for. You’re investing a significant amount of your week to it.
Would you hold back with your passion projects? Would you hold back with your significant other?
Rather than not love the company…get better at breakups and moving forward.
Best not to diminish the emotional impact you can have for the fact of impermanence.
