Filling A Water Bottle

Water Bottle In The Woods

It doesn’t make sense to keep an empty water bottle and only fill it up when we want/need water.

It doesn’t make sense to have an empty water bottle that we only fill a tiny bit throughout the day.

It doesn’t make sense to go a full day with an empty water bottle, thinking “I’ll fill it tomorrow.”

It doesn’t make sense to keep the empty water bottle out of sight or on the other end of the building.

Far better to fill the bottle in the morning, keep it close, and continue to top it off throughout the day.

We’re no different.

Cleanliness Is Next To…

Clean Streets

A clean space makes room for bright ideas.

Cleanliness adds positive energy to an area.

If it’s clean, it’s likely more organized. If it’s more organized, there’s likely more time to do valuable work.

A clean area makes one feel calm upon arrival.

And if that’s all just how you feel when your home, bed, workspace, journal, computer, email is clean. Imagine the impact you can make when you help others (whether you’re visible to take credit for it or not).

Step 1: Make and keep your home clean

Step 2: Make home wherever you are

You’ll thank yourself. And others will thank you, too.

Stay Positive & Welcome To Godliness

The Gentle Journey

Marathon View

Drip drip drip.

One step by on step.

Inch by inch.

One after the other.

They all feel far more enjoyable than:

Everything at once.

All right this second.

Sprint.

Attention Or Invite

Event Gathering

Someone waving at you is much different than someone waving you over.

Someone putting an ad in front of you is different than someone sharing a ticket for an event.

Posture matters when marketing. Hands down inviting people to an experience is far better than interrupting their lives to get some attention.

Ownership

Construction Workers

It doesn’t matter if someone else’s logo is on it.

It doesn’t matter if someone else signs off on it later down the road.

It doesn’t matter who is working on it by your side.

If it’s work you’re doing; it’s yours.

Stay Positive & Own It

Back To The Target

Rembering The Target

If you’re unsure how the draft you’ve written is coming along, remind yourself of the target.

If you’re unsure how to craft that next piece of your marketing plan, think back to the target.

If you’re unsure how to design a space, view it through the eyes of your target.

Starting with the target in mind is actually the easy part.

The hard part is regularly going back to it as you learn, grow and try new things.

Stay Positive & Target-Centric

It’s The Energy You Bring

Energy Train

The conversations that happen in a room are influenced by the energy you bring into the room.

The experience a customer takes away from entering your shop deeply depends on the energy you’ve brought into the shop upon arriving.

The way an email will be perceived can change based on the energy you have when writing it.

As a wise kid I mentored told me: “You have to use your energy for good.”

And the best way to do that is to bring good energy everywhere you are.

Stay Positive & All Good
