It’s an important evaluation. How will you know the work worked?
Just as important as knowing how it worked is writing the answer down and ensuring all other stakeholders agree to it.
There are two actions that make any project hell.
The first is building something without knowing what success looks like for it.
The other is when the success measurement or KPI changes during the middle of the work.
Oof.
Force the answer. Write it down. Bring it up during every step of a project.
You may never thank yourself for doing this, but you’ll surely be bummed if you don’t.
